• Giodis Version 1.2.7.1 (December 15, 2010)
    • Latest Javad Geo Engine provides considerable accuracy improvements for GPS/GLONASS processing with and without precise ephemeris.
    • Giodis utilizes multi-core processors capability to accelerate multi-subnets processing.
    • Import processed subnets and catalogs to organize long lasting projects. It allows to process daily subnets in separate projects and finally to adjust entire project at once.
    • Extending Coordinate Reference System Transformations database with latest transformations and geoids.
    • Using updated SECTOR (Scripps Epoch Coordinate Tool and Online Resource) web service interface (SOPAC) provides epoch (date) specific coordinates for global network site(s) of interest. NAD83 coordinates are also available.
    • New video lessons will drastically reduce learning cycle time.
  • Giodis Known Issues
    •  The attempt to connect to remote services (e.g. SECTOR) without internet connection will produce UI delay due to reattempting to connect for every requested item.
    • Auto generating names ignores maximal number of characters and always produces entire file name.
    • Zooming to regions about 30 meters size could produce application to hang.
    • For some map objects legend doesn't allow to hide them.
    • Currently import doesn't allow loading files with identical name. The dialog about renaming should be added.
  • Giodis Version 1.2.1.1 (November 27, 2009)
    • This version is compatible with Windows 7. User still has to run Giodis in Administrative Mode. Please follow the following steps to run Giodis with full elevated rights and privileges in Windows 7:
      • Right-click the Giodis application icon and then click.Properties.
      • Click the Compatibility tab.
      • Select the Run this program as an administrator checkbox, and then click OK.
    • Post-processing engine improvements with long-continued data sets.
    • To analyze processing the residuals charts were added. To launch Analyzer Tool please:
      • Click the Occupations Graph tab.
      • Right-click on chosen session bar.
      • Select Analyze item in the context drop-down menu.

We are also planning to allow edit session and reject some low quality data right from Analyzer Tool.

    • To keep important notes, maps, charts, and tables the Notepad tab was added. We are planning to allow insert any project information into this notepad easily. So Notepad will allow advanced reporting in addition to Excel reports.
    • There is possibility to choose JPS2RIN or TEQC for JPS files parsing. See Data Processing panel-bar in Configuration dialog.
    • Loading unnamed data was simplified by adding Autogenerate the Point Name checkbox. When it is checked point will be named by using selected number of leading characters in the file name. See Data Processing panel-bar in Configuration dialog.
    • More control on Rinex Marker Names interpretation. By default blank space split Marker Name into Point Name and Comment. Selecting Skip Blanks checkbox allows input entire Marker Name as Point Name without any modifications. See Data Processing panel-bar in Configuration dialog.
    • Coordinate System Editor creating new objects (such as geoids) has been improved (creating new geoids and so on).
    • The issue with antenna type update has been fixed.
    • It is strongly recommended to use Absolute Calibration for antenna calibration type. See Data Processing panel-bar in Configuration dialog.

  • Giodis Version 1.2.0.1 (October 12, 2009)
    • Post processing engine cycle slip eliminating algorithm has been improved.
    • Post processing engine performance has been improved.
    • Map view refreshing and zooming were optimized. The possibility to keep user-selected zoom was added ("Default Zoom" check box).
    • Coordinate Systems and Transformations editor has been localized.
    • Spanish language has been added.
    • Comma as decimal separator was accepted for "Paste" operation.
    • Redesigning configuration dialog.
    • Project files tree was redesigned to allow multi-files operations.
    • The following national coordinate systems and transformations were added:
      • Czech Digital model from ETRS89 and WGS84 to S-JTSK (Ferro) has been added.
      • Romanian Oblique Stereographic 1970 projection on Dealul Piscului 1970 on geodetic system has been added.
      • Romanian digital model from ETRS89 / Stereo 70 to SK-42 / Stereo 70 has been added.
      • Romanian vertical system and corresponding geoid on ETRS89 "Sistem de altitudini Marea Neagra 1975" (Black Sea 1975).
    • "Save As" button preserves file types (Giodis catalog or project).
    • Coordinate System groups are simplified and reorganized for user convenience.
    • Fixing minor bugs.
